My Neighbor Totoro

Studio Ghibli was introduced to me by the Gen Z youths (and some cuspy Millennials) on set and My Neighbor Totoro is the perfect gateway drug to Miyazaki’s world. I did not grow up a fan of anime but the background artwork in these films alone are so incredible. This particular film is so sweet and the one I would choose to watch over-and-over of all the films! My daughter loves it so much she did a Google Slides presentation on it for school!

One of our three go-to family movies that my children and I have basically memorized. Our cinematic comfort food, while this rec isn't particularly original as everyone and their mother loves this movie, consider this your ping to watch it again, immediately.
